Hound Crew is now hiring a van driver/dog walker in Hackney

 

Hound Crew are looking to hire an experienced dog walker/van driver (Full-time). If you love working with dogs outdoors and you’re interested in understanding dog behaviour, come and join our Hackney walks. We are a dog walking company specialising in off-leash group exercise, socialisation and recall training. We pride ourselves on providing a consistent and reliable service to our clients and a wonderful time outdoors for their dogs.

The job:

  • Transporting dogs from their homes to the park and back in one of our vans.

  • Walking up to 6 dogs on and off the lead in any weather.

  • Supervising dogs whilst off leash, ensuring all dogs are safe and happy.

  • Taking photos and videos of dogs.

  • Towel them down on rainy days.

  • Performance bonus (Once you’ve completed initial training)

  • Great working hours: 7 am - 4:30 pm, Mo-Fri. No weekends and bank holidays

  • Possibility to earn extra cash boarding our client’s dogs

  • Salary: up to £2,400.00 per month (incl. bonus)

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK driving licence

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience driving a van in the UK.

  • Be at least 24 years old for insurance purposes.

  • Professional dog walking/dog handling experience is preferred. Although, training will be provided.

  • Be calm and confident dealing with dogs of all breeds and sizes.

  • Excellent time-keeping skills.

  • Very good English and excellent communication skills.

  • Live within a short commute to Hackney

  • Provide valid DBS checks and professional references.
